- a Capella is to sing without any musical instrument (without piano, or whatever you sing with or to)
- that means that you wont have any background music. it'll just be you singing/acting.
- Acapella is when you sing without any music playing in the background. Just your voice alone making a melody, so to speak. It's like the American Idol auditions.
- Capella (star of the first magnitude) is a mixed-voice chamber choir for high school aged singers. The aims of this ensemble are multi-faceted: to advance further the singers’ musicianship and vocal training, to expose the singers to a broad body of repertoire from the pre-Renaissance to the 21st century, and to prepare the singers for a lifetime of music making, in whatever form that may take. Entrance to Capella is by audition. Changed voice men are accepted beginning in the 8th grade.
