What pop or rock song would you suggest for a high school choir to sing a capella?
Our choir was cut from the school programs in our district. Myself and two other students have worked hard to keep the choir alive in the form of a club and have decided to do an a capella song. We are looking for a more rock or pop song like they've been doing on "The Sing Off" Songs like "Don't stop believing"-Journey or "Bohemian Rhapsody"-Queen.. if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them

- Eye of the Tiger, Livin' on a Prayer***( I LOVE THAT SONG!), That's what you get ( Paramore) Already gone by Kelly Clarkson Replay by iYaz
- Jessica- --The Allman Brothers- There are no words to the song but they could do do-das-de-de' or la-las, and devide the voices into the guitar cords, tough to do.
- Fix You -Coldplay I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For -U2
- I think Teardrop by Massive attack would be an interesting a capella song. Not to mention with House, MD in full swing, it's popularity is on the rise. Newton Faulkner did an excellent acoustic version of it, you might be able to listen to several versions and select interesting aspects of each song to throw together piecemeal. Good luck!
