Can you have no experience and still be a part of a capella?

I'm going to college next year and heard a few of the a capella groups there and I think they are excellent. I have no experience singing, in fact I'm pretty sure I don't have a very good singing voice. Is it still possible that I can become a decent singer and join one of these groups?

1. Honestly unless you have an amazing singing voice, you won't get in. They won't settle for just decent. But hey, you can always audition and see what happens.
2. You DO KNOW that you will have to AUDITION to be in any group...Right? So there is no way WE can answer your question when it depends onk what a particular GROUP WOULD THINK... all you can do is AUDITION and see what happens. Be warned... one of the most necessary skills is to have PERFECT PITCH because A cappella is VERY unforgiving for untrained voices.
